The fourth volume in the Military and Humanitarian Health Ethics series has been published. The book, entitled "Challenging Medical Neutrality - Healthcare ethics in times of armed conflict and other emergencies" and edited by Ana Elisa Barbar and Daniel Messelken, is now available as a PDF and ePUB via Springer (LINK). The printed version is scheduled for publication imminently and will then be available via bookstores and online retailers.
The 2024 ICMM MME Workshop on "Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Ethics
in Military and Humanitarian Healthcare" takes place from 20-22 June 2024 and the program of the workshop is now published.
The 3rd volume in the Military and Humanitarian Health Ethics series has been published. The book edited by Sheena Eagan and Daniel Messelken entitled "Resource Scarcity in Austere Environments. An Ethical Examination of Triage and Medical Rules of Eligibility" has been published.
The 2023 ICMM MME Workshop on "Medical Neutrality in Theory and Practice" takes place from 15-17 June 2023 and the program of the workshop is now published.

The dates of the ICMM Courses on Military Medical Ethics, which are co-organized by the ZH Center for Military Medical Ethics have been confirmed.
The 10th ICMM Course on Military Medical Ethics in Times of Armed Conflict (Military Medical Ethics/ MME) will take place from 28 August – 01 September 2022.
For the first time, the course will be held as a hybrid course with participants both in Spiez and online via zoom.

We decided to see the current situation as an opportunity to explore a new format of the course and to hold the course as a “virtual classroom course”.
